Stephen Harget is a Portfolio Manager in the Japan CoreAlpha team. In addition to helping to manage JCA, he has primary responsibility for the research input for the JCA strategy, working closely with Jeff Atherton to broaden and deepen the knowledge base within the investment universe. In particular, Stephen focuses on the mid cap Alpha stocks, with increasing emphasis on corporate management teams and their attitude to capital management and shareholder returns. He also has direct research responsibility for a number of global sectors such as energy and resources, industrials, basic materials and manufacturing.
Stephen has a BSc in Mathematics and Finance from the University of York and is a CFA charter holder. He joined the JCA team in August 2015 and has 8 years of investment experience in Japan.
